As an artist, what kind of contribution can you make to the centre of a large city, where people, advertising and information of all kinds constantly surround us? I attened castings of trees – along with the objects from which they were supposed to have grown – into the windows of this glass building, at three different spots.
Three surreal images, where the impression is rather like only the skin of a tree growing. Like presenting the idea of a tree. Their vulnerability in this situation, in this place, where about 100 000 people walk by every day, fascinates me.
