This work was installed at a hospital for children with hearing impairments. I placed approximately 700 different silicone objects in various corridors and rooms of the building. I tried to fill it so the overall impression would be overwhelming. And to provoke a small thought: what kind of collection is this? What has been studied? The staff later told me they often use the work to make shy children curious and willing to walk with them through the hospital. In a way I was trying to confuse the children a little, make the long corridors less scary and more of a place to explore. I believe in hiding art.
