The phenomenon of materializing a dream

Roland Persson exhibited five full-sized rooms that guests were invited to walk around in. The floors, walls, and even ceiling of one of the rooms were covered by a wealth of silicone objects and structures. As is often the case with Persson’s work, it is not a mere reproduction of things already known but the creation of another world. A world that bears a strange and distorted resemblance to things as we know them to be. The result is a shock to the senses, as one is engulfed by this strange world.
